Counting Kids

One day, a girl named Lisa was going on a bike ride with her mother. When they were bike riding, she saw five squirrels, three birds, and a chimpunk. Altogether, she saw nine animals. A boy across the street was counting his Star Wars books. He had three character Star Wars books and five books about the movies. Altogether, he had eight Star Wars books. His friend, Danny, was counting his father's trophies. He had two soccer trophies, four baseball trophies, and one tennis trophy. Altogether he had seven trophies. Next door, there was a girl named Elizabeth. She was counting her mother's flowers. Her mother had three daisies, five roses, and six petunias. Altogether, she had fourteen flowers. Her friend, Emma, was playing a game of checkers. Well not exactly. She was counting the red checker pieces and all the black checker pieces. She had five red checker pieces and five black checker pieces. Together, she had ten checker pieces. And everybody in the neighborhood went to the playground to count. The End. By: Addy
